Who We Are

The Alliance of Disabilities and Chronic Illnesses in Medicine aims to support disabled medical students and those with chronic illnesses through connection, community development, and advocacy. We help our members thrive as marginalized individuals in medicine and work to make medical education more equitable.

What we do

Community Development

We support our members with resources, connection, & networking opportunities.

We are researching accommodations for standardized exams and identifying areas for improvement.

From gathering new data to interpreting what has already been discovered, we are collecting information regularly to best provide our members with up-to-date resources and support.

"We should not make disabled lives subject to debate."
